Rockin’ with Dolly Event at Powhatan Luck Stone
The Powhatan Education Foundation and Powhatan's Dolly Parton Imagination Library have partnered with Luck Stone to promote literacy across Powhatan County! Join us on March 29th at Luck Stone, where for just $20, you can fill your truck bed or a single-axle trailer with gravel. All proceeds will directly benefit Powhatan's Dolly Parton Imagination Library, helping to put books into the hands of children throughout the county.

Our mission, as the Powhatan Education Foundation, is to enhance the learning experience for Powhatan County Public Schools' learning community. To that end, we participate in fundraising that provides classroom innovation grants, s
tudent enrichment activities, and post-secondary scholarships. Recently, PEF is proud to have brought Dolly Parton's Imagination Library here to Powhatan County, serving as its local non-profit affiliate.
PEF is expanding its outreach and its board and we are looking for you - interested Powhatan community members - with these inclinations and skills:
Community networking and willingness to represent the foundation publicly
Organizational planning, for monthly board meetings and outreach
Communication skills, potentially fulfilling secretary role in monthly board meetings
Social media planning and management
Donor relations management
Stewarding financial resources

9th Annual Golf Tournament
The Powhatan Education Foundation is hosting the 9th Annual Golf Tournament on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at the beautiful Mill Quarter Golf Course in Powhatan, Virginia. The tournament format will be a Four Man Captain's Choice with a shotgun start beginning at 12:00 p.m. This tournament benefits students and staff of Powhatan County Public Schools via the Powhatan Education Foundation.
Registration is live and will run through the end of May. The entry fee is $100 per golfer or $400 per team. See below for more details about registration.
